Let's Get Acquainted
Growing up my family was that family. You know the one that just picked up the camping gear and set out to find a back road, a brown sign or a good fishing spot on the weekend. We were your typical weekend warriors. When I started having children of my own the sense of adventure never stopped. Always wanting to find something different to adventure to and learn. My older kiddos and I took a trip that was just four days long; yet we made our way to twenty seven museums and eight states. The girls were just five, six and eight at the time. This was the year their dad passed away.
Seventeen years later I have found my new best friend that loves adventures just as much as I do. We were married this year (2020) amidst the pandemic. Dates were changed and moved along with so much else. In the almost two years we have known each other we have been able to enjoy so many adventures with our children and grandchildren. We never know who is going on the adventure with us we just know we are going together.
The term "Brown SIgn Adventures" came from the love for finding state parks, museums and historical landmarks. Their brown signs leading the way. We hope you enjoy our adventures and maybe find one that you want to venture to with your family.
